Casemet Cubo stainless steel standard enclosures have hinges and locks made of stainless steel

Casemet Cubo standard enclosure series includes Cubo E, Cubo EO, Cubo F, Cubo V and Cubo U products. The product range also includes the outdoor enclosure series Cubo OC. Enclosure solutions and enclosure accessories made of stainless steel (AISI304 and AISI316L) are durable and protective even in demanding conditions and environments. Stainless steel is well suited for outdoor use and industrial environments because of its excellent corrosion resistance. It also has good UV radiation resistance. When the enclosure hinges and locks are made of stainless steel, the service life and level of protection of the enclosure are increased. For example, the stainless steel Casemet Cubo E and EO wall cabinets come with stainless steel locks as standard.

Casemet's Cubo standard enclosure series products are certified steel enclosures designed for demanding conditions. The enclosures protect against impacts, water and dust, and thus provide good protection for, for example, various device solutions placed in the enclosure.

Standard enclosures can be customized according to the customer's wishes and needs. When the customization is based on a Casemet Cubo series enclosure, the enclosure's IK and IP classes remain valid. More detailed information on the IP and IK classes of enclosures can be found here. Steel is also fully recyclable as a manufacturing material.

Enclosure material options are:

Stainless steel, AISI 304

Stainless steel AISI 304 is suitable for outdoor use (rain protection is recommended), as it has excellent corrosion and UV resistance. The surface roughness of our enclosures made of stainless steel AISI 304 is Ra 0.20...0.35 μm.

Stainless steel, AISI 316L

Stainless steel, AISI 316L is used in conditions where extreme corrosion resistance is required or where the properties of AISI 304 are not sufficient, such as in the off-shore industry. The surface roughness of our enclosures made of AISI 316L is Ra 0.20...0.35 μm.

Polyester-painted steel

The basic color of our polyester-painted steel enclosures is gray (RAL 7035). The coating thickness is 80–120 μ and does not contain TGIC (triglycidyl isocyanurate).

Galvanized, polyester-painted steel

The basic color of our galvanized, polyester-painted steel enclosures is gray (RAL 7035). The coating thickness is 80–120 μ and does not contain TGIC (triglycidyl isocyanurate).

Aluminum

Using aluminum as the material for the enclosure solution provides excellent corrosion resistance. Aluminum is a good material when durability and lightness are required from the enclosure.
