LOGISTICS WORKER

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Worker for a permanent position in Mikkeli.

We are seeking a logistics professional with previous experience in warehouse and dispatch operations and the ability to manage a wide range of industrial logistics processes. If you are confident operating a forklift, familiar with shipment handling, and approach your work with accuracy and responsibility, you may be the person we are looking for!

What does the job involve?

You will work in Casemet’s production logistics team and contribute to the smooth dispatch of products, as well as day-to-day warehouse and dispatch operations.

Your duties will include:

• Collaborating with production, transport companies, and other stakeholders
• Packing products and shipments and preparing them for dispatch
• Loading cargo and operating a forklift
• Booking and arranging transportation
• Preparing consignment notes and other shipping documents
• Using transport companies’ systems
• Using production and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems in your daily work

What are we looking for?

We hope you already have experience in similar roles and can work independently, ensuring that shipments leave on time and are accompanied by the correct documentation.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Good forklift operating skills
• Experience loading cargo
• Experience packing products and shipments
• Familiarity with production or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, such as Lemonsoft
• Experience booking transportation and using transport companies’ systems, such as Posti, DSV (formerly DB Schenker), and FedEx
• The ability to prepare consignment notes and other shipping documents
• An accurate, thorough, and responsible approach to work
• Good teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work with a variety of people

Experience handling shipments to destinations outside the EU, including preparing export, customs clearance, and shipping documentation, will be considered a significant advantage.

We value initiative, organisational skills, and the ability to keep things running smoothly, even during busy periods.

A qualification in logistics or warehousing will be considered an advantage.
