Casemet’s in-house design organisation supports the design of enclosures and sheet metal components. We can consult the customer’s product development team or provide fully completed designs, for example for a new enclosure solution or sheet metal product.

Our designers have extensive experience – we have been designing and manufacturing enclosures for well over 20 years – and we use modern software tools.
Our designers work closely with customers. The design process often starts from customer-provided drawings, such as PDF, DXF, or STP files. DXF and STP formats help speed up the design process and minimise material waste.
Our design process ensures that project requirements are taken into account, including operating conditions, materials, enclosure ratings (IK and IP), and the design of systems installed inside the enclosure.

- A typical customer project consists of the following stages:
- Quotation and order
- Kick-off meeting with the customer (if required)
- Enclosure design (3D model and assembly drawing)
- Design review with the customer
- Prototype (if required)
- Transfer of the product to production
Casemet has strong expertise in testing and certification. Project-specific agreements can be made, for example, on testing of the finished product or batch tracking before delivery. Quality is also monitored throughout the manufacturing process.
Our standard enclosures are certified. If an enclosure is modified, it is advisable to discuss the impact on certification with Casemet’s sales team. Casemet can also assist in obtaining certification for customised products.
