The measurement system housed within the enclosure is used to monitor and control, among other things, the quantity, temperature, and flow rate of the milk. In addition, the system controls the truck’s hydraulics, sample cabinet, and sampling valve.
Milk collection trucks operate on average 21 hours a day, every day of the year. Each truck collects approximately 27 million litres of milk annually. There are around 250 collection drivers.
The Cubo E enclosure is well suited for milk trucks. It is made of stainless steel and customised with customer-defined dimensions and cutouts. The enclosure has an IP66 rating, ensuring resistance to moisture and washing. It features a hinged and latched door, making it easy to open for inspection and maintenance of the equipment.
“This particular enclosure has also been customised with a polycarbonate window, enabling barcode reading of the equipment.”

The finished steel enclosures are delivered from Casemet to Pasielektro Oy, where the electromechanical assembly is completed. After this, the enclosure is ready to be installed in milk collection trucks. Casemet has a long-standing collaboration with Pasielektro Oy.
“Our cooperation has only deepened over the years. Flexibility and listening to the customer’s needs are the foundation of a successful partnership,” Ari explains.

“Our cooperation with Casemet is close, and we aim to receive enclosures and sheet metal components as complete as possible. The enclosures are constantly evolving – components change and new functions are added to the equipment. It is especially important for us that Casemet can respond quickly to changes and deliver the enclosures exactly as we need them.”
