This year, we have a special reason to celebrate as we mark Casemet’s anniversary year – it has been 10 years since the company was founded! We celebrated this remarkable milestone together with our customers and partners at two exclusive events.
Beautiful spring sunshine set the perfect scene for our events in Mikkeli on Wednesday, May 20. The day began at our Mikkeli factory with the Cubo Technology Day. During the inspiring presentations, our experts shared insights into the development of our operations, our latest machinery investments, our new enclosure solution, the Cubo EC standard enclosure, as well as interesting customer reference cases. Important topics such as sustainability reporting and measures to further develop our sustainability efforts were also highlighted.
After the presentations, guests had the opportunity to gain a more hands-on understanding of our production and manufacturing processes through guided small-group factory tours. At the production showcase stations, visitors explored the technology behind our manufacturing, as well as the precision, quality, and finished products that define our work.
From technology to festive atmosphere
After the Technology Day, the atmosphere became more festive towards the evening, when it was time to move on to the 10th anniversary gala. The technical and interesting program of the day was accompanied by moments of togetherness, celebration and appreciation. The gala was celebrated in a magnificent setting at the Mikkeli Concert and Congress Hall Mikaeli. A warm spring evening crowned the atmosphere of a dignified event.
During the evening, we took a moment to reflect on the company’s journey — where it all began and what has been achieved together over the years. Our success has been built on the trust of our customers, strong partnerships, and the expertise of our personnel.
Sanna Vihersalo, CEO of Casemet, warmly welcomed the guests and, in her speech, expressed gratitude to the company’s employees, customers, and partners for the shared journey, trust, and collaboration built over the years.
Jukka Kokkonen, Chairman of the Board of Casemet, shared the story of how Casemet’s journey began and the bold decisions that shaped the company along the way. A strong desire for development and the ability to adapt and renew have been at the heart of the company’s growth. Above all, Jukka’s speech conveyed sincere gratitude for the years of working together and for the fact that a new generation has continued the family business. His speech moved the audience deeply and was met with resounding applause.
In her speech, Leena Nikula, CEO of OP Suur-Savo, highlighted three key lessons that are reflected in Casemet’s everyday operations.

Between the speeches, guests enjoyed delicious food, great company, and atmospheric music. The evening’s program was smoothly guided by host Joanna Kuvaja, whose warm and natural stage presence carried the celebration seamlessly from one moment to the next.
The most astonishing part of the gala program was undoubtedly the captivating performance by mentalist Jose Ahonen. His impressive and interactive show amazed the audience, sparking laughter, wonder, and enthusiastic participation throughout the evening. A few members of the Casemet team even had the chance to take part in the performance themselves!
Looking ahead
The gala was not just about reminiscing about the past, and neither is this anniversary year. The evening’s speeches emphasised a strong belief in the future and the desire to continue growing together with customers and partners.
